Good Leader

A good leader must be able to connect with people genuinely and authentically. This doesn’t mean that you need to be an extrovert – plenty of introverted leaders can lead effectively. They are also able to maintain their confidence even when faced with setbacks.

They aren’t afraid to take risks and make bold changes and have the confidence to do so even if the situation seems impossible.

Seeing challenges as opportunities

Good leaders must be able to recognize potential opportunities and leverage them for the benefit of the organization and its employees. They must also be able to anticipate possible problems and take appropriate action to avoid adverse effects. Proactive leaders anticipate challenges and work with their teams to prepare and identify solutions.

Recent studies suggest that empathy leads to lower turnover rates and increased productivity. In addition, empathic executives are more likely to build long-term relationships with their teams and ultimately grow the organization.
